Wet folding origami? I only recently heard about this technique and instantly thought that I had to give it a go.
Wet folding origami is a technique where you use damp paper to make a model - this allows you fold curves that wouldn't be possible in the usual way.
One of the first wet-fold models I saw was Alexander Kurth's A Glance into Heaven - and he details how to make it on this excellant old video. His advice on wet-folding paper was also handy.
I got some 300g watercolour paper to start with. I had a quick practice just making some simple curves and then tried this model. I didn't find making it too challenging - perhaps because of the good instructions given.
I enjoyed making it - and am going to try some more wet-folding models. To start with, I might try making some other model I've already made with this technique.
